Safari font crisis
Since I migrated to my new mac mini yesterday, Safari has been having issues on various websites displaying some text:
![]() ![]() I've been looking round the internets for a solution but have come back empty-handed, so I was hoping the MR community could help me out. FWIW: Safari 6.0.2 (8536.26.17) Mac OS X 10.8.2 (everything up-to-date)

You appear to have a corrupted font (not sure which one though).
Try a clean install and restore the software/data manually instead of using migration assistant. |

Offhand, I'd say you either have missing fonts:
http://bencollier.net/2011/07/missin...s-x-lion-10-7/ Or you have Safari set to display fonts at a minimum size. Go to safari> preferences and click on advanced...Set the font size you want or just untick the box that says "Never display font smaller than xxx"

Fixed.
Thanks - I should have twigged it was a system font issue.
I had a corrupt duplicate for a bunch of fonts so using the "look for enabled duplicates..." function, manually weeding out the broken ones and restarting Safari did the trick. ![]() Cheers.
