Safari problem - page loading hanging

Hi All

More often than not...when I try to load a page in Safari, it will start to load and the blue progress bar will get about 1/4 along, and then it seems to hang.

If I press reload..it then seems to load normally.

ANy ideas?

Have you any extensions installed? Try getting rid and starting again.

ok, try changing your DNS servers....

208.67.222.222
208.67.220.220

If that doesn't work, I'm out

Whats a DNS server?

How do you change it?

DNS is for Domain Name System. When you punch in yahoo.com a DNS server tells your computer to go to specific Internet IP address like 76.85.237.76 to find that site.

This will walk you through how to change the DNS servers used by your computer.

If you haven't already done so, try changing your DNS servers on your Mac and your router to OpenDNS servers. This will show you how: Why am I being redirected to other sites?

How about more info, like your version of Safari, OSX, model of your computer...

Safari 6.01

MBP 15" 2.6 i7

I've tried changing DNS Server..but doesn't seem to help much....
