Apple should change logo

to this: Thumb resize.

Who agrees?

You asked for an opinion and I gave you one. Why would I want to buy a product that had a dead man's shadow on it?

Buying something just because of the logo is just plain silly.

Nonetheless, while a nice graphic, not a good logo. Too 'weird.'

So if the logo was a penis, you'd still buy it?

Seriously? Apple already has a reputation for being a cult - that's not going to help! Plus Jobs isn't/wasn't a God - will people please stop worshipping him like he was one. He was a man, had good points and bad, and sadly died young.

No they should not.
It is a bit of a strange thing to do, stick your deceased CEO's face in your logo, and put it on every single product. No. Just NOOOO.

No, sorry but apple is not Steve Jobs and since he's now dead it makes it morbid. Also consider that the logo implies that Apple is looking back and not forward which gives the message that apple's best days are behind them with the passing of Jobs

Not to mention the added cost of the additional detail in the proposed new logo. People often say that the "Apple tax" is paying for the logo, but in this case the level of detail would actually increase cost for very little (if any) gain.

Even the Pear logo is three cutouts instead of two.

Their current logo design is nice. I don't like the Steve silhouette logo at all, for many of the reasons listed above me.

Hell no. I would never buy another apple product again. Anyone who thinks this is a good idea needs to have their head examined.

Far too creepy for a logo.

Too many people on here have a weird obsession with Steve Jobs.

He was just one guy in a company of thousands.

Agreed, putting Jobs' face on the logo is a terrible idea.
