General Flex - List of Tweaks

Flex.... the jailbreak app to create tweaks. For those of you who don't know what it is, its an app that allows you to create patches and run them on the fly to modify aspects of iOS. For example; you can modify springboard to hide or show certain Status Bar icons.

I created this thread to try and keep tabs on what you can do with flex. I will list all the current tweaks/patches available. I encourage users to post what they find/create that I don't already have in the list and I will add it. Help me out ppl
All of the tweaks/patches i list are not tested by me, but are tested by the developer so I cant say what works or doesn't. These are what is stored in the Flex Cloud, they are patches/tweaks other users have made and uploaded. There are MANY more things you can do with Flex.

• App Store Full Screen - Makes the status bar disappear, making it true full screen. [CONFIRMED WORKING ON iOS 6.1]
• Disable Update Badges - Removes Appstore update badges.
• LogOFF Patch - This patch wont show your account name.
• No Accounts Allowed - Stops the Appstore from logging you in, good for kids playing with your iDevice.
• The Fullscreen Appstore by Artur - Ensures the Appstore is running in Fullscreen Mode.

• Calculator Full Screen - Enables fullscreen in Calculator. [CONFIRMED WORKING ON iOS 6.1]
• Disable Copy and Paste - Self Explanatory.
• Disable Rotation - Self Explanatory. [CONFIRMED WORKING ON iOS 6.1]

• Calendar FS - Calendar No Status Bar.[CONFIRMED WORKING ON iOS 6.1]
• Disable Landscape View - Self Explanatory.[CONFIRMED WORKING ON iOS 6.1]

• Camera Tweaks - Enables still captures during video, HDR, Panorama, min and max zoom.
• Don't Hide Zoom Slider - Zoom slider is always there.
• Enable Panorama - Enables Panorama in iOS 5.0.1
• Hide Zoom Slider - Hides the Zoom Slider when zooms to not take up camera space.

• Alarm Always On - All alarms will be impossible to turn off.
• Delete One by One - Adds ability to delete clocks/alarms one by one.
• Disable Nothing Found - Self Explanatory.
• Disable Snooze - All alarm added after enabling this tweak will be unable to snooze, exisiting ones wont be affected.
• FS Clock - Removes the status bar from the clock app.
• Hide SubSeconds - Hides SubSeconds Before "00:00.0" After "00:00".

• Contacts Fullscreen - Removes status bar to make the app fullscreen.
• Disable Section Headers - Disables the space-wasting section headers in list views of the contact app.
• FBiconBgone - Removes the Facebookk icon for contact photos.
• No Search Bar - Deleted the search bar.

• Directv Bypass Jailbroken Block - Bypasses the Directv jailbreak check [CONFIRMED WORKING ON iOS 6.1]

• Allow All Bluetooth Pairing - This allows all unsupported Bluetooth devices to now be supported with iPhones
• Always Show Clear in Notifications - Always show clear on notifications
• Always/Never Show Notification on First Swipe - Sets if the small tab should be shown before the notification center will be pulled down.
• Apps Only Open When Completely Loaded - Apps wont show the "fake app screen" that is unresponsive until the app is fully loaded.
• Apps Stay inn Newsstand - Lets you keep apps in the Newsstand if you used that glitch.
• BackBoard Services - Disables ASLR, Check for Leaks, Prevent CPU to Slow Down.

• CallerPictureFullscreen - Shows full screen picture of contact when calling.

• Change Screen Aspect Ratio - Change your screen aspect ratio.
• CleanBoard - Removes all application labels, app shadows, shifts icons to make up for extra space.
• Customize Status Bar Icon - Pick and choose what icons you want to show or don't want to. [CONFIRMED WORKING ON iOS 6.1]
• Delete Apple Applications - Same as Can Uninstall Any App.
• Disable "New" App Sash - Remove the "New" app sash.
• Disable Album Artwork on LS - Disable Album Art on LS.
• Disable Apps in Switcher - Wont show icons, but still shows media controls.
• Disable Bookmark Uninstall - Cannot delete bookmarks.
• Disable Emergency Call - Disables Emergency Call on LS.

• Disable OTA Updates - Stops phone from doing OTA updates.

• Disable Shadows - Removes all shadows from icons and such.
• Disable Top Bar on LS - Hides the top bar behind the LS clock. (DOES NOT HIDE THE CLOCK) [CONFIRMED WORKING ON iOS 6.1]
• Disable Uninstalling - Stops the ability to uninstall apps.
• Disable Voice Control - After you turn off Siri, this will turn off Voice Control.
• Don't Show Newsstand in Switcher - Does what it says
• Don't Auto-Open Created Folder - When you create a folder, it wont automatically open it.
• Downloads in Newsstand - Apps will appear in Newsstand while they download.
• EU Volume Limit Remove - Does what it says.
• Extended Folders - Increases iPad folders to 20 apps. (IPAD ONLY)
• FaceTime Wont Pause Video (BETA) - Pressing Home Button wont pause FaceTime.
• Fade Into - Fade into apps while switching
• Fade to Switch - Fade between switching apps.

• SpringBoost - Disable all non-essential graphic effects of Springboard to boost older devices.

• Take Photos While on Video - Enables still captures while recording. [CONFIRMED WORKING ON iOS 6.1]
• Transparent Status Bar Only on Homescreen - This one is cauing the status bar to be transparent in LS and HS. REMOVED FROM CLOUD TO BE UPDATED
• Transparent Status Bar Only on Lockscreen - Self explanatory.[CONFIRMED WORKING ON iOS 6.1]
• Ultimate Icons Patch - Simple icon tweaks for you to play around with.
• Ultimate Springboard Patch - Simple springboard tweaks for you to play with.
• Unlimited Pages - Remove page limit on homescreen
• Vertical Page Bounce - Enables vertical page bouncing, like when scrolling your pages.
• Videos Always Play in Landscape - Self explanatory. [CONFIRMED NOT WORKING ON iOS 6.1]
• White Calendar - Disables the Calendar Image. Sets the Icon in white.

• I have the full purchased version, I cant say what works or doesn't work on the cracked version.
• Any help from other people with posting patches available (only ones that are currently in the Flex Cloud, I will add a "Create Your Own Tweak" page when I get time and see some movement in this thread) is greatly appreciated and I will add the all to the master list.
• Any tweaks you can CONFIRM that do not work, will be flagged appropriately.

• The closest thing I could find on a 'How To' would be the official forum/topic located here.
• iDownloadBlog had a post with a 'Hands on video' you may wanna check out here.

No kidding? I've been intrigued by this app but I've only read reviews and stuff when it first came out and in the days leading up to its release. All the examples shown back then were very basic and easily accomplished with already existing tweaks in Cydia. Since its release I haven't see anyone claim it as a "must have" or anything like that. I have no clue what Flex can do when there isn't an already existing package in Cydia. I must admit though, I also have not done any further research since its release.

Does anyone know some cool stuff Flex can do that doesn't already exist as a standalone package in Cydia? Or is it similar to springtomize where it offers a ton of individual tweaks all rolled together into one neat package? If that's the case, there's definitely a lot of value in that.

Hey OP, is that list a complete list of everything it offers or is that just the tip of the iceberg so to speak?

Edit: that's a huge list haha. Does that all really work?!

As a matter of fact, due to Flex - I was able to dump Springtomize 2 (improved device performance and battery life as a result) because most of it's tweaks are available on Flex.

Well worth the $3.99. They even have a patch for a very popular 3rd party SMS app that removes the ads in the free version.

I found the Flex board on Reddit and user mwi98 (if this is his tweak) says it was making both lockscreen and homescreen status bars transparent but leaving a line on the lockscreen. Is that the one you have? He says he is updating it and as of yesterday it was under moderation.

Can you send me the details of the unit? I can try adding it myself and see what happens.
