OS X Sim city 5 on early 2009 iMac

hi

people at the EA forums tell me my computer cannot run simcity 2013

i have an imac 24'' early 2009
2.93 ghz core 2 duo
8 gb ram
nvidia gt120 256 mb

but then i found this

2009 mbp with Intel Core 2 Duo 2.53ghz with NVIDIA 9400M 256mb Video card.

i'm not an expert on graphics cards ... so ?

and just in case ...
i have a toshiba satellite L500 D - 163 laptop
Graphics hardware : ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4570 512 mb
Processor type : AMD Athlon ΙΙ 2.0 ghz dual core M300
Processor speed : 2.0 GHz
4 gb ram )

how will that do ?

thanks again i hope i m not posting in the wrong place
i m just excited about the game that's all .

I suppose it's too much to hope there's a demo version you can download and test?

Q: Will there be a demo for the Mac version?
A: There is no demo currently planned for the Mac version.

i do not like this .

how are you supposed to buy a game if you don't know if it will even run ...

Once it's released I am sure EA will post the computer requirements on their website. Either that or wait for others to try first :D

OS: Snow Leopard 10.6.4

Hard Drive: 10GB HD Space

Broadband Internet: Minimum 256 kbps download, 64 kbps upload


yes but people are saying that the pc minimum requirements are way optimistic . i read that min reqs are just on paper .

my specs are a bit above the minimum so i ''ll give it a try .
except if other users report that it is too graphically intense .
of course i 'm going to wait for other to try first :D
