Had a thought about Kickstarter projects and others.

If you are a person who does not follow the Kickstarter website on a regular
basis or at all, nor trawl the net for new games/projects, could there be a new
area set up here for people to post new games/projects as and when found/seen ?

That way people can just dip into the list to see what could be up and coming.

So seeing as Kickstarter has become part of many peoples gaming experience then
it maybe a good idea ?

I thought that is already happening. When Kickstarter regulars see an interesting project, they post it here.

When devs want more attention, they do the same.

If people want to dip into a list of projects, they might as well do that over at kickstarter's.

Am I missing something, orrrr...:)

I hear what you say, and yes people do post here if they find something interesting, just thought it may have been good to have them all in an area of their own, that's all.

This topic is fine as it stands, but I wanted to remind everyone that if a Kickstarter project is started, we do not permit posting it in the forum, as it violates our solicitation rules.

From what i've seen around the net, when people wants to promote a kickstarter, they promote the campaign directly. If you go to Reddit for example, you'll see already plenty of posts linked to Kickstarter.
I don't think people in general want even more Kickstarter related threads...

Might as well lock the topic. You can't share any kick kickstarter projects you've seen because just listing them here "violates our solicitation rules" as you just said.
