I'll go first! Note that this thread is meant to be humorous, not pictures of actual, un-photoshopped, system profiler.

This first one is a fake PowerMac G5 with a 12-core Power8 and 64GB of RAMs.

So I think that I've done some serious modifications to this computer. The processor of a new Mac Pro, and the RAM of an HP Z820. I lied.

Yeah, because that is very possible, and very likely.

Don't tell anyone, but this is the secret prototype 12" PowerBook G5 that I pulled from a dumpster behind Apple HQ a few years back. It's really neat! It's a later prototype, so it offers improved one-hour-long battery life and can run up to 10 minutes while not sitting on a block of ice! As you can tell, it was pretty near production. Shame it never saw the light of day.

After some careful work with the dremel, I've finally managed to fit my new Radeon Pro Duo in to my MDD. It takes up a fair bit of room in there, and I've had to run it off a second PSU (currently sat on the floor behind the mac, with the wires going in where I've left out a PCI blank, I'll have to improve that at some point).

Runs my 2 new Samsung 8K monitors really nicely, handles both at full resolution at 60mhz easily. Going to need a bigger desk next, they're wall mounted ATM, which works I guess.
Might try overclocking it at some point, to increase the frame rate.

I didn't know AMD finally made those in AGP format... about bloody time :p

It's a prototype, but apparently AMD is not going to put into production. Shame.
Daft too, as with double the number of slots you can plug Pro Duos into, there would (presumably) be double the sales. It's obviously really.

;)
Sign me up. i want 3 PCI versions for my Beige G3

Or for PCI-X G5's and maybe MDD's...

Or for those people who hate only using 1 adapter when you can use 2...

You really could run an HD5870 in a beige G3 or even a 7200 or 8600! (if you can sort drivers and power suply).
Or a Radeon duo pro, if you have money to burn!

I had an ATI 6970 running in my G5. only worked in Linux and no bootscren so I donated it. there is a thread dedicated to not
flashed gpus in þ Ubuntu forums.

Just messing around on my iPhone 4 with OS X 10.5. Trust me, it is real, you have to go to Infinite Loop, walk 100 rounds in the loop, then you'll find a door to the room with the servers hosting the OS X 10.6 PowerPC build, just walk into there and take the door on the left to the servers, and you'll find a bunch of these iPhones running it. Totally legit.
