Bear scared up tree. Twice. By a cat.

Quote:
A black bear got more than it bargained for after straying into a family garden in the US state of New Jersey.

The unwelcome intruder was forced up a tree - twice - by the family pet, a tabby cat called Jack.
Quite a funny article, with a great picture!

I read about this today as well. It's quite funny although I feel sorry for the bear. It looks really scared. I've also been on the wrong end of a cat and it's not much fun .

If it wasn't from the BBC and w/ a photo, I doubt I'd have believed it. Truely remarkable.

And just so damn funny!

There has to be a way to rewrite the lyrics to the Shaft theme for this cat. Any creative types out there?

I wonder if it was an adult bear. Looks small-ish. If it was an older or more experienced bear, you'd think it wouldn't be intimidated by that cat.

Wouldn't want to meet that cat on a dark night!

And reminds me of the trampolining bear from last year

Black bears don't get very large (well, compared to other bears).

So if you're being attacked by a bear..........meow a few times and start licking yourself.
