would someone be willing to post an idiots step by step guide for using Final Cut Pro. Right from what to do when connecting recorder to computer etc, a real step by step guide to import and edit and burn.

The manuals and tutorial that came w/FCP are pretty thru and easy to read, IMO. Of course you have to leave out the "burn" part 'cause you another proggie for that (iDVD or DVD SP).richardhurst said:

If you need a guide on how to connect your camera up to the computer you might want to start with iMovie/iDVD & not a pro App.
If you dont know how to use FCP, then don't use it.
If you want to LEARN how to use it, google, read, buy a book, take a course.
Its not something you can do "step by step" because there is a bazillion different ways to do a bazillion different things.
Either be more specific in your request, like you are having a specific problem, but if you are looking for an FCP tutorial, this aint the place.
