Apple Keyboard with Black Keys

Anyone think they might release a version of the current keyboard with black keys?

no...it wouldn't go well with the white line...

it would create a white, silver, black contrast...thats too "dellish"

If they did it they would most likely change the cable color too. But, no, I wouldn't count on seeing one of these anytime soon.

it's certainly possible. apple at one point sold the apple pro keyboard in both black and white versions.

Apple would definitely get rid of the white if they were to go with it...

isn't that kind of the point? the op asked if apple would release a keyboard with black keys in place of the white. i don't know, but it's certainly possible; apple's done it in the past.

Doesn't the MacBook Air have black keys? Could this be the future of Mac devices? I hope so, as I have never liked the white keys.

But if you look up there ^^ 3rd post down, somebody directs the OP to this product by 'zCover' that is sold on the Apple site, click on that, and then read the reviews...

Seems like a waste of money, imho

You can use an iSkin keyboard cover. But I really wish apple made one with black keys, it would match so much better.

Me too! Was thinking of changing my white keys on my iMac keyboard to black. There's gotta be some way. I hate the white keys. They get dirty so fast.

Im surprised there isnt even a decent 3rd party option for black keys/aluminum body. I'm not buying some dumb cover either...

Logitech recently made a keyboard specifically for the Mac. It's not Apple but it definitely looks like an apple keyboard and comes is various colors, including black. Check it out: http://www.logitech.com/en-us/keyboa...board-k750-mac

And its solar powered...goodbye batteries!!!
