What is this picture and why is it on my Mac?

I was searching my Mac for the iPhone SDK dmg file because I never used it and I wanted to delete it. I found a file titled "iPhone.icns" in Macintosh HD>Developer>Platforms>Aspen.platform>Developer>Library>Xcode>Plug-ins>AspenSupport.xcodeplugin>Contents>Resources.

In the file was a group of icons and pictures of the iPhone, and one looked different. Anybody know what this is? Could it be the 3g iPhone? I doubt it, but I still find it interesting.

Matches the thinner front bezel on the most recent leak pics. That would be pretty cool.

I just searched the file name in Google and it doesn't look like anybody else has posted this before.

that is the best photo ive seen for months... In comparison could you upload a picture of a normal iphone graphic from the sidebar, (the pic above this one).. even from the small pics the bottom of the present iphone looks much rounder

It's kinda hard to compare between the different images - what's different exactly?

This is a fun and torturous time to be an Apple fan. We get little trickles of information leaked in here and there. Always lots of good rumors to check out this close to something "big" from Apple.

the black border around the screen has the illusion of being much bigger and the sides are definatly more defined. Thanks Apple for giving us this gift of seeing what the 3g iphone looks like

The current iPhone looks rounder.
The top speaker looks higher.
Side buttons look a little different to me.
Chrome bezel looks narrower.

okay I have like the 3rd or 4th version and just found it.... it's difficult to see the differences, but it seem the edges are different (very minor differences) almost as if Apple messed up the scaling of the images just for the iCons... I'm not so sure this is any type of leak....

Only your first pic shows the different one.

Just an additional note: The ones that look the same as the current iPhone now, the buttons are backwards. Sleep/wake is on the left, ringer/volume on the right.

Yeah, the first picture had a thinner bezel and buttons on the left (which also matches the recent photo leak). That one has a thicker chrome bezel and buttons on the right.
