Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPod; U; CPU like Mac OS X; en) AppleWebKit/420.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.0 Mobile/4A102 Safari/419.3)

Ill try it. If I like it, I'll buy it

I had a .Mac trial before, and I didn't find it to be too incredibly useful so I didn't really use it. MobileMe looks really cool, so I'll be sure to try it out and actually use it this time since I'll have an iPhone to use it with. 😀

Probably. I like the idea of having an iDisk that I can access anywhere and that always gets synced. Too bad I can't take full advantage of it though using the iPhone...since I'm Canadian, lol.

I already have .mac and use it frequently. I know lots of people say you can get separate services for cheaper, but I like how nicely integrated it is with the OS and all other Apple products, and mobileMe makes it so much better! I have an iPhone and the new push services will be great!

My habit of checking every box while ordering a Mac just in case means I still have a number of .Mac boxes floating around even after giving them away. I've only just started wondering if these'll be good or if I'd better try and trade them in now.

Will mobile me come with any 30 day trial etc that you can try before you actually purchase through apple.com?

I just haven't found the need for it yet. Haven't really even felt interested in the trial option. Not sure what it is that keeps me from it.

I wont be buying mobileme simply because I have no use for it, I already have yahoo mail for push email and I never use calendar and what not so I am good without mobileme

Nope, I sync my contacts using Windows Live Messenger -> Windows Contacts -> iPod Touch. Plus it also works with my Nokia E61.

Besides, MobileMe doesn't offer much for Windows users.

I'm looking for a Trial Period for MobileMe like they had with .Mac. I haven't found that option yet. If someone finds it, please post the link.

i cant find the mobileme update in software update, but everyone says its there! is there a direct download from apple.com?

Os 10.3.9

MobileMe requires 10.4.11. So I wonder what will happen to those Mac users with 10.3.9 out there that have a .Mac subscription? 😕

PS: I have 10.5

No, gmail and flickr pro ($25/year) are still my preference and I have my own web hosting/online storage. Push is a cool feature but not one I need (sorry your email is just not that important to me). The family pack seems like a good deal though if you want an all in one package for a few people.

Just so you guys know me.com is up and there is a free trial.

Update: Ugh, a credit card is required just to get the free trial.

Update 2: The website is down again.
