Hmmmm....

Not the current one, as they have nothing between the USB ports and the audio jacks.

Looks like the the front left edge of the bottom shell to me.

Ethernet, FireWire 800, Dual USB, an unknown (4-pin FW 400?), and audio ports.

Now for the right side?

It's not large enough to be Mini or Micro DVI.

I think that "unknown" port looks a bit like an optical audio in/output.

Looks a little small. Mini DVI might be one of the two big ones on the left side of the pic, or those could be ethernet and FW800, as mentioned.

Maybe, but that is already built in to the audio ports. Why waste precious port space for that? If they are using Mini DVI, surely they would build the optical port into the headphone jack.

True, but it's got the same shape. I don't get why they would move the video output to that side when it's already got a great home on the right side of the MBP...

I'm a bit concerned by the fact that seemingly genuine leaks thus far have only been parts of the casing...

To me that says that they don't even have assembled units ready... we could be in for a long wait

It doesn't look like a one piece of aluminium as you can clearly see the line on the edge. I think its again one of many fakes but we shall see. Also, why would someone take just a picture of this and nothing else?

I've worked with metal before and I can say it does NOT look like a solid piece of alum. You can see the thickness of the side piece clear as day.

Keep in mind we haven't seen the other side of the laptop. It looks like non-video related I/O ports right now.

True,

Though in past leaks of other products, it has proven to be easier to get a hold of partial devices than complete units. I would suspect that full laptops would be more closely guarded. Either way, it is an interesting picture.
