IIRC, that was the scene from Office Space where they beat the $#!^ out of the copy machine. I loved that one too.

Ralphie boy is the sh*z.

I'll have to look thru the 'tars some more to make a decision. I'm kinda liking Mr. Anderson's newest piece.

I agree with you eye. I'm really digging Mr. Anderson's latest 'tar. If I had to pick the top 2 posters with the best 'tars, I'd say you and Mr. Anderson have had some of the best. I really liked Mr. Anderson's previous Einstein one as well.

I do like Eye's. Very in, the style and subject matter... People's change so often, i can't keep up anymore! Teabgs is great too, for that classic approach...

With the new size, there's a lot more detail that you can get. Eye's is great and I don't think it would have looked as good at 50x50.

I hope we see a lot more creative ones soon. The current one I have is just a place holder

I wondered about Mr. Anderson's, it seems subpar for him (no offense), i've loved the things he's come up with in the past... looking forward to a new
one at larger size from you

I love the show. Anyway, I guess mine is a litle creepy-looking if you don't know what it's from (see my sig). I probably could have tried harder to find a less forbidding expression/pose, though. C'est la vie.

As for feeling better... thanks. Just as soon as my damn heart finally stops I will feel a whole lot better.

Wow, i hadn't realized we could go to 75x75 pixels... Time to re-do the old avatar. Or maybe find a new one, I haven't decided.

Can I use Flash to make an animated one?

I'm pretty sure animated GIFs are the only acceptable ones, which are of course non-interactive. However, the size limit on 'tars is 19.5k, so good luck fitting much animation in there... keep the color pallette small, you'll get more frames in.

i think it's 39 k now...

edit: though it does say 19.5 in the cp... rower said 39k in the thread over in the forum discussion thread about avatars... guess it's worth a test.

Would Fireworks be able to pull it off too? I'm curious since I have the Macromedia Studio suite already.

I like paulwhannel's new one too. I guess this thread brings up the obvious question. When is the next avatar contest?

/edit for punctuation.

Ah, interesting, we have a little more space, eh?

Well, that means I'll have to come up with something worthy of it

nice vniow, but you should animate it so that the sign follows up with something like "Our chief weapon is surprise!" or a mac-themed typed play on that...
