ADC + Cinema 23" = PC compatibility?

Hi,

I want to buy a 23 inch display for both my powerbook and mainly my Radeon 9700 equipped Athlon XP tower. Would ADC + Cinema 23" work with a PC tower unit? Thanks.

now i am not the smartest guy in the world..but i thought that ADC was apple only. do you have an ADC connector on the card?

You can buy a DVI->ADC adaptor (basically it needs to inject power for the display) and it should be fine.

but i have also heard that since you can only change the brightness on the actual screen and you do all of the sizing in the mac software, that it might show up weird...doesn't hurt in trying though.

my friend has one on his Area 51, he just can't adjust the bright/contrast i think.. but yes, it is possible and not to difficult.

they have a 23"er hooked up to a pc at compusa that has FarCry playing on it, I must say, that game looks stunning!!
