rkdiddy macrumors 65816 Jul 1, 2009 #4 Both my TC (when I had one) and my AEBS get hot. I would however suggest leaving it on, because you're likely to mess up your router settings by turning off and on. Just make sure it has plenty of space around it to get proper ventilation.
