Iphone is a Bad Apple

I will admit that this is my very first apple product. I am not impressed.

I just switched from a Blackberry about a week ago and so far, I want my blackberry back.

Once again the glitz of a slick advertising campaign glosses over actual usefull functionality.

I had best duck now to escape the ire of the applefanatics.

I believe they involve boredom and the anonymity of the Internet:

Well, you don't like the iPhone, fine. People have different needs.

But you come to an Apple forum, bash on the iPhone saying it's all glitz and advertising and expect what, praise?

My thoughts exactly... Maybe you're not well educated just yet on how to use the iPhone. Do you have any problems with getting used to the virtual keyboard? Do you want some tips on usage or apps?

LOL awesome.

Anyone notice how the OP has now disappeared, his trolling complete? Gotta hand it to him - he managed to set off a nice little thread with one obvious troll post.

Good for you, thanks for sharing the fact that you freely bought a device that didn't meet your needs.

No worries, Apple products aren't the best choice for everyone.

If you're in the US, there's a 30-day return period. You have about three weeks to return it (and use your old BB again).

Now this, .. this I don't understand. Are you really trying to say that you fell victim to a slick advertising campaign and didn't do any actual research or legwork on your own to ensure that the iPhone does what you need it to before you purchased it? Geezus.

Basically, there is no "one phone" that is perfect for every person. Some people do better with BlackBerrys. Some do better with Pres. Some do better with iPhones.

But for the love of everything man, research your purchases before you make them.

Every phone handles auto-correcting and spell checking differently.

I take it you bought your car because the commercial showed it going "vroom vroom" and didn't actually test drive one to make sure it was what you wanted, right?

A person named blackberryfan doesn't get to call anyone else a fanatic.

If you bought the iPhone without doing your research then yes you did let the ads get to you, but that's really more your fault than apple's.

I have no idea why I'm even posting, but what the heck...

First: I have YET to have a single dropped call with AT&T. People that complain about AT&T, poor service, et-al, DO YOUR HOMEWORK! Check before you buy. Go to Best Buy, get a cheap GO Phone, and check your area are first! Like buying a car...do your homework!

Second: I've used Blackberry's since the old antenna days; the Curve, etc. and I am so much more productive with the iPhone than ANY of those devices.

Third: NO ONE is forcing you to use an iPhone, and/or AT&T. Don't like it, LEAVE. That simple. Go to Verizon, buy a Storm, or whatever, and BE HAPPY!

Sorry for the rant...but I'm SOOOOOOOOOOOOO tired of all these posts. Same is true for any Mac/Apple product. If you like Windows 7, DELL, HP, whatever, great! Use it, be happy, and SHUT UP!!!!
