H halli macrumors newbie Jul 29, 2002 #2 I have no problem with divx alpha 2 and quicktime 6, but if the sound is choppy, you have to run the divx movie through the validator app (included with the divx package), it takes little time and always works.

Click to expand... Download VideoLan Client and your Divx (not to mention VCD) problems are over. No doctoring neccessary. Check it out on versiontracker. One tip, VLC only works with QT6 in "Thousands" of colours mode. This bug will likely be fixed in the next revision (it is highly reported). Seriously, try out VLC. it blows away QT for Divx.
