iPod Any in-ear headphones with good bass?

There are plenty but none of them are cheap. You're looking at around $100.

Yea, I was talking about the Apple in-ears, not the standard earbuds. The in-ears have two drivers, a tweeter and a woofer. I'm no audiophile, but it sounds like it has good audio quality.

Are they still $70. If it's those then yes, they have very good sound quality for the price.

I can't believe something that small could actually have good sound. I don't want to plunk a lot of money just to find out they suck.
If you need bass boost to get a standard amount of bass, I would say they are not good.

No, they have good bass when you get a good seal in your ears. I turned on bass boost before I realized the earbuds were loose in my ears.
I checked some review. The Apple do not seem to be good performers.
The MM50 iP seem to provide great value, but I'm concerned about their durability.

Not as expensive as custom iems like Ultimate Ears, you can try Shure SE 530, the best non custom in ear I've tried.
Go with the Bose in-ear headphones...I've had mine for a few years and they have the best sound I have ever heard for $100. Plus they are really comfortable too.

God help you if you start frequenting head-fi; that place can become an obsession!! I speak from experience. In any event, what's your budget? Yes, you can get IEMs that kick out unreal, tight, punchy bass.
From my relatively limited experience, a cheaper way to start is looking at something like the Klipsch Image S4 (~$80 shipped from Amazon)... I have those, and they're o.k. I also have a pair of on-ear portable Audio Technica ATH-ESW9 (not bass monsters, but punchy & tight (~$250; do NOT buy these from eBay or if the price is significantly lower--there are fakes being sold by the truckload); finally, the IEMs I just bought: Monster Turbine Pro Copper IEMs. Monster has a bad name amongst many b/c of their over-priced, over-hyped cables, but man, they got it right w/ these IEMs. Unless you can find a good deal, they'll probably cost ~$350 (I think $379 on Amazon right now). HOWEVER, Dell.com has them for an unbelievable $175 right now (though we head-fi'ers bought them all up, so there is now a 1-2 week delay)! 😀

My choice: Klipsch Image S4 (if you have an older iPod) or Image S4i (if you have a newer iPod, iPod touch or iPhone that supports in-line remote control).
I have the Image S4i and love it for its strong, clear bass. Mind you, I'd recommend ditching the oval ear tips provided by Klipsch and use either the Comply T-100 or Tx-100 "memory foam" ear tips or the Shure black foam sleeve ear tips used by the SE-series in-ear monitors.
There's two now IEMs from Etymotic (mc3 with in-line controls and mc5 without) but Etymotic has not said when they will be available. 🙁
By the way, if you can get the Apple Dual-Driver IEM (ADDIEM), they're actually pretty good earphones. However, do be aware they don't have booming bass and the treble rolls off slightly, but they are excellent headphones for listening to speech (podcasts particularly).

I think I'll get the Sennheiser MX 760, or is there a better alternative (maybe costing somewhat more)?
