I am on a vacation right now and recently encountered a problem with my macbook pro. This happens randomly at anytime. At first the problem only occurred during a middle of a Team Fortress 2 game but it spread systemwide.

Here's a video:

Can anyone help?
Thanks

hey man unfortunately that looks to be problems with the GPU and high temperatures. its often referred to as artifacting - this seems like a severe case though! i would advise taking it STRAIGHT to apple, show them the vid, get them to run tests and see how it goes.

What specs is your macbook? Apple are replacing my MBP late 2008 because of the 9400m kept frying itself and flickering. I am getting a free i7 out of it (I have applecare).

Thanks for the reply. I have a 2009 2.66GHz 15 inch MacBook Pro with the nVidia Geforce 9600 GT and the 9400. I'm currently on the 9600 one and I might try the 9400 one. But sometimes the Mac freezes on the apple start
Up screen (the loading wheel stops spinning).

I tried the hardware diagonosis test but it came up with no problem.

I'll Go to an apple store but I am on a vacation
