£8 iPad case from eBay that appears to have been inspired by official Apple iPad case

got this in the post today, after a 2 week wait. search eBay for MPT3. $13 delivered.

Pros: nice leather feel, mimics the apple case for propping, screen edge not covered. Sturdy when in standy mode. slightly thicker than i expected. stitching good

Cons: iPad not snug (but tight), open on top - it could fall out if held 'upside down' (relative to Home button). holes aren't *perfectly* aligned but very use-able

I've ordered one of these as a place-holder until the Yoobao frameless case or something similar comes along, so it's nice to know that it fits reasonably well.

not real leather, agreed. It's 'leather effect', forgive my lack of textile knowledge.

I haven't got the apple official one to compare, i'll probably end up with that one in the end. But this one fills the job until then. It's just a shame it took so long to get here

Have you actually seen the Apple case? It looks like yours like a motorcycle looks like a mountain bike...yes they both have 2 wheels, handle bars and a seat.
