So I thought this update was supposed to fix the kernel panic bugs, but they seem to have come back this weekend.

Is anyone else experiencing this?

Nothing that crazy. Current OS, not the beta. Safari, messages, Apple Music, news, podcast, daisy disk, Plex.

I will thanks. Already have a case open. Jus tired of how bad apple software had gotten lately.

It's a low level software bug in ARM Macmini iBoot concerning display frame buffer.
Hopefully, it will be corrected with next update.
In the meantime, don't connect your display with integrated HDMI, disable live wallpapers, turn off screen saver.

This integrated HMDI port is often a problem on Mac mini.
Most important is to desactivate screen saver and animated wallpapers.
Lock Screen with an active corner instead of sleep is an other solution.

It's a low level bug. I don't know if all the causal links have been identified.
So please ask in dev forum. It could be an interesting thread, especially as the current beta 14.5 has now problems detecting external screens.

I also have a mac mini m2 and post 14.4.1 update getting kernal panic if i let it sit on unattended long periods of time. If I am using it all is fine but if I leave it unattended it will force reboot and panic. Anyone else had any resolution?

That exact same thing happened to me. Plugging the monitor into the usb c port instead of HDMI, and disabling live screensaver and live background seems to have helped. So far.

Ill have to try that. I also have a dell monitor as well

So I plugged my Mac into a LG monitor last night via hdmi and it did not kernal panic like it did with the Dell. Rip to my $350 dell monitor
