In the 15" powerbook, is there much of a difference between the Radeon 9600 and Radeon 9700 graphics cards? Thanks for your help.

depends upon what you're doing with the powerbook, if you're just doing some web browsing light gaming DVD watching, you won't see a difference
however if you're going to take a plunge into doom 3 when it's released for mac their will be a noticeable difference

My PB has the new ATI Raedon 9700 (128 MB VRAM). I use it for Photoshop, DVD movies and web surfing. There is not much difference compare to my old 15" iMac screen. But it didn't cost that much more to have it on the PB
