iPod 2 questions about the classic

So I just got the classic today and have 2 questions:

1) can you confirm that the click wheel is much worse than the one used in the previous generations (like the iPod Photo for example) ? I find it much less responsive and sensitive. Sometimes it feels also like it freezes.


2) How the hell does the volume limit thing work ? Maybe I'm stupid but can't use it. I played with it but when I tried to put it to maximum again, as soon as I pressed play it turned back to the lower settings. I had restore the iPod and after I did that, I played again with the volume limit and had to restore it again Now I'll try to never touch again that option....

1. Can't say definitively about the new click wheels, but mine seems to work fine.

2. You scroll to the desired volume (in your case, maximum) and press the center button to set the limit. Simple.

Sadly I can't do it. It won't stay where I put it, unless it's an even lower volume setting. However after restoring 140 GB of music for the second time I won't try again...
