Sigh, not on 1900FP

All those monitors that are on sale have pretty poor contrast ratios. I have both the 1900FP and 2000FP side by side. The 2000FP is nice at 1600x1200 but its contrast ratio is not that great plus it has all that bulkage around the monitor.

The 1900FP is by far Dell's sweetest LCD. Slim frame, nice 500:1 contast ratio. Only thing I don't like about it is the iSight camera stick-on won't stick to one due to lack of flat surface behind it at the top. The 1900FP works well on my older G4 with DVI connector.

Th 20 in cinema display is not as bright and has the same contrast ratio as the 2000fp. Anslo the cinema displays are also not flat in the back.

MacMice sells a number of different clips for the iSight, one of which may work with the 1900FP. Goes under the name SightClips.

Of course, MacMice == MacWhispers == Uncle Jack, which is a turn-off for some people...
