27" Delivery time thread.

While it's lovely that you don't care, I do happen to care that my order was skipped over. I'm not going to judge you for not caring, however.
If you guys had an Import Scan in KY this morning it will leave that place later today and you should have it tomorrow. That's what many of us saw, the import scan was the one taking too long.
I just got mine a few minutes ago. Put it on my desk now and will wait for it to adjust to room temperature, it's freezing to the touch so I don't want to run it just yet. Looks beautiful right now, physically I saw no defects (although it isn't as clean as other Apple products I've gotten, some smudges on screen and back that definitely show human touched it, even if wearing gloves). I've cleaned it all up and will run it soon to see if it's as nice as my old 2009 iMac was when I got it.

WHY? Because we all know there's NO WAY your 27" iMac could fit under your tree, and the chances of you having a tree THAT big is basically ZERO!
In all seriousness, WTF is up with Apple's processing/build/delivery process? Seriously! I've been racking my brain and nothing makes sense...

Actually, you are right. I don't even have a tree. We always travel at Christmas, so we don't bother setting up a tree at home. You got me!

It was supposed to be delivered tomorrow morning at 10.30am but FEDEX came this morning instead at 10.31am.
My computer was shipped from Shanghai on 12/14 to Memphis than LA (I live in Orange County).

Even-though I ordered the trackpad, they threw a mouse for free in the box without I ask for it.
Been in KY since Friday like a lot of the rest of you. But today my status was changed from Delivery 12/19 to Early Delivery 12/18. So hopefully my new Mac will be here tomorrow!
My friend and I both ordered 27" machines on the 30th Nov. Exactly the same machines other than his was configured with a fusion drive. I ordered mine about an hour before he ordered his. His shipped yesterday and will be here on the 20th. Mine is still processing and saying 4th Jan. Gits.

Well it took 7 physical days from the original scan in China.
So if you got a scan in China on Dec 14th. Consider yourself lucky if you get your iMac earlier than Dec 21st.

It spent 2 days getting out of China. One day in Alaska. 2 days clearing customs in Lousiville. Left Lousiville Saturday morning (459am 12/15/2012). No other updates until 605am that it was on truck out for delivery.

You will get new tracking number when carrier processes it (within 24 hours) and it will also say what carrier it is with.
But it is merged with my SuperDrive in Praha, CZ.
One more strange thing. It says that it was shipped on Dec 18th. How is it possible?

Mine was shipped this morning, unfortunately using UPS. My estimated delivery from Apple is Dec. 6, and I have no estimate from UPS yet. I was really hoping to get it by Christmas Eve... Has anyone that had their iMac shipped UPS come earlier than the estimate from Apple?
Dec 6? Does Time Machine do that?? lol. And yes, I am getting mine tomorrow, one day earlier than UPS said originally, and 6 days earlier than Apple originally said it would deliver.
