Just bought a 3DTV, but setting it up will probably require "rewiring" my home theatre system. My AV receiver is an old one that'll need to be bypassed (it won't pass-through the 3D signal, so I'll connect the HDMI directly to the TV and pass the audio separately via optical to the AV receiver.
Will 3D (from a PS3 or 360) work with a HDMI switch?
The consoles seem to check if a 3DTV is attached, so I don't know if it'll work if there's a HDMI switch between the consoles and the TV. If not, it'll be a big headache as the TV doesn't have many ports; and it'll mean lots of fumbling with remotes every time I switch from TV <-> console. (turn on console, switch AV receiver to optical input for audio, switch TV to different HDMI port for video)
