Overpduction of the 5C? It was the third best selling phone in the world last year. iPhone 5S being number one if course

The 5.5" is real and is going to happen. They will have to do something to compete with the G3. I recently bought one and hands down it is the best electronic device I have ever owned. The screen alone blows everything else out of the water.

In your mind you may think it is too big, but in reality it works. People are hungry for bigger screens, Apple for once will have to do something to fill a need, rather than sit back and dictate what the market will bear. I think they may have learned their lesson with the overproduction of the 5C and the underproduction of the 5S.

The Model T days of Apple are over.

Why no additional row/column of apps?

Why do these mock-ups of bigger screens never add an additional row and/or column of apps? It reminds me of when the fourth column was added. All the mock-ups had failed to imagine that's what they'd do. So it came as a surprise. You'd think they'd want to avoid the same mistake again.

Maybe they tried it and it looked ugly so thought Apple won't do this.

That's only one article from a short period time. Show me where Samsung markets the note as a flagship device.

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Review: Samsung’s Flagship Brings Latest High-End Specs, Useful Special Features And Massive Capacity Upgrades
http://www.ibtimes.com/samsung-gala...latest-high-end-specs-useful-special-features

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will have a 5.7-inch screen size, which is the same as its predecessor Note 3, according to reports. Some argue that the flagship device should have a 5.9-inch or 6-inch display while others say that the company was right in keeping the screen size constant as handsets bigger than 5.7-inch will be too big to hold.

Tomorrow's headline, "5.5 inch model not getting released til 2015". And when next year rolls around, "5.5 inch model not getting released til 2016".

I believe you're absolutely correct. Apple has no greater fear than releasing an iPhone to complete head to head with highly popular Android phones sporting 5" to 5.7" displays. They've avoided it for years, why start now.

Being in the unique position of controlling their customers mind set, the single most amazing accomplishment and legacy of Steve Jobs, allowing customers to influence Apple now would be tragic.

Really, you think that the 5.5" should be the flagship??
the 5.5" is only for China and most people who wants a phablet..

The phablet-folks would laugh in the face of a puny 5.5" screen. Most "phablet-heads" that I know aren't even considering anything under 6" and 7" is becoming the new sweet spot. One die-hard phablet guy I know just got some weird chinese 8" phone and he swears by it.

5" is pretty much the standard phone size today, a 5.5" is just a bit larger phone.

This is not a PR from Samsung.
Does Apple call the iPhone 5S their flagship device ? Flagship is a term used by the media to call the top model smartphone from Samsung, LG, HTC etc.

In a way Samsung has two flagship smartphones. There’s the recently announced Samsung Galaxy S5 of course, but there’s also the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, which is aimed at people who want a bigger screen but is no less premium.
