I got a new battery and new ram for my powerbook (in sig) today. The battery has been fully charged and in the process of draining. The remaining time has always been 'calculating' and the percentage has been pretty normal, though hovering on 5% for the last 20mins. Are both these normal for a first time calibration on a new battery?
EDIT: The G3 powerbook, that is.

Okay, it went to sleep, now I've connected it again, it's at 1%, and 'calculating until full'. Once again, is this normal for a new battery?

2 cycles later..
Does anyone know how to make it actual calculate how much time is remaining? I'm sick of "calculating, until full..."
