Hi there,

For some reason, Activity Monitor won't open and has not opened after restarts or shut downs.

I have looked around but i can't find a remedy. I don't want to reinstall everything.

Is there an equivalent application out there?

Thanks in advance,

Rich.

You could try using Pacifist to extract Activity Monitor from your OS X Install disk. It'll be a tedious task, but should ultimately work out. I can't tell you where Activity Monitor is located on the Install DVD, but some guess and check wouldn't be too difficult.

Alternatively, you could contact another Mac user and ask them to send you their copy of Activity Monitor. A quick check shows it's only 1MB.

Brilliant!

I totally forgot that!

Cheers for the advice.
