Why not ask the coder himself, Adam Iser

Hit up http://www.FunMac.com and look on his boards ( I offered him the hosting and well yeah), I was lucky enough to get ago at adium 2 and I have to say now that its no where near ready for prime-time.

Also try his own website, http://www.adiumx.com

It has file transfer, .mac address support and other tidbits. Also you can have it so it uses apple built in ichat services for logging on and such.

file transfer can be a little misleading. from my build, built from cvs two days ago, there really isnt support there. yeah, if you sign on with your .mac name you can get it to work, but they still havent implemented the oscar code to get it to work with other names.

with away messages, i havent been able to find a decent way to view them yet either. i mean, right now the only way to view profiles is to edit the list and click a magnifying glass when the name is highlighted.

i dont mean to sound negative. i like the client alot, and i think it is really clean and moving along quite nicely. its just not there yet.
