Airport Express

I want to get an Airport Express so that i can have a wireless access point for internet and printer and sound in my room. But the problem is that i want to broadcast more than just my iTunes library to the speakers. I want to be able to transmit my movie sounds and all sound that would normally come from my speakers. Is there any way, through software or a different piece of hardware, to accomplish this?

No, as far as I'm aware. If it ain't in iTunes, you're not going to play it over AirTunes. If you can get it into iTunes, you can play it. It's a matter of how much time you want to put into transcoding stuff to do what you want. You might want to look around for iTunes plugins that do what you want.

Even if you found a way to do it, it would have a delay. AirTunes encodes the stream on the fly I think.
