iPod Alterpod Problem

Hello, I want to "mod" my iPod minis firmware, with the program Alterpod. But it dosent work so I really hope someone could help with my problem.

When I tried to "Extract" the firmware from my iPod mini using Alterpod I got a strange Error message. I'm not running iTunes or any other programs that is using my iPod at the same time as I am using Alterpod. Does anybody know what I'm doing wrong?

I think it has to do with Spotlight, because Spotlight is indexing iPods to. Does anybody knows how I disable that?
