I have a Sony Blueray player with networking DLNA capabilities and have succeeded in streaming MP4 videos from a Mac through it. However I've never been able to fast-forward or rewind. It's either play, pause or stop, and I sometimes get error messages saying the file is corrupt etc. The same videos play fine in iTunes where I have them organized so I know they're not damaged.
I tried several DLNA server apps a while back but first settled for PS3 media server and finally ending up with Universal Media Server (apparently based on PS3 media server and improved) as the one working best, with the above limitations.

Is there any way to stream an MP4 movie from a Mac and be able to fast-forward/rewind and change chapters?
