The Apple 30" Cinema Display looks sweet, but the Dell 3007WFP beats it in the tech specs, so I can't justify the price difference.

So my question is this: have any of you Canadian readers received a snail mailing from Dell? Apparently there are some 30% off codes being handed out. I would really, really appreciate it if someone would PM me their code if they're not using it (expires soon).

Thanks,

Dell Canada has their Days of Dell super-sale a few times a year. I picked up my 2405FPW for a hair under $900, shipping included, in September. It's currently listed at $1299. Unless you really need the monitor immediately, or you got a really amazing coupon, I would wait for one of those events.

The 2405FPW has been avaiable for under $700 with coupon codes available at slickdeals.net - I would post in their forums for Dell coupon codes, my better traffic so you'll get more and better answers.

$900

The Dell 2405FPW is currently listed for under $900 directly from Dell on their website so I'm not sure why anyone would think otherwise. I certainly hope nobody is still paying $1,200+ for the same monitor!

Hmmm...

You're right, the 2405FPW is back up to $1299 on the Canadian site. That's the third different price I've seen on it this month alone! I heard talk that the 3007WFP was on sale until last week, but I hadn't seen the price move from $1999 Cdn, so I don't know how accurate that is. Could have just been some of you Americans getting excited about the price difference (it's about $1599 US here).

OOps, now the 3007WFP is up to $2299 Cdn. They sure like to frig around with their prices, don't they? Must mean it will now get cheaper in the U.S.

Hey guys, I just looked at the Dell site because I'm interested in getting a monitor, and it looks like they're having a sale on a bunch of stuff, including their 24" and 20" widescreen lcd monitors. Also, does anyone have an extra coupon that I could use with the 2005FPW? If so, I'd be very grateful. Thanks in advance.

Not to change anyones mind but... I have a FPW2005... and have, since the day I got it, regretted not buying the 2405.

Just make sure the Ebay codes are "stackable" before you buy. It seems the 30% off codes do not apply right now, because Dell has a LCD sale going on.

Dell 2405 coupon

Hi, I was wondering if there were any other 30% coupons off monitors that anyone was not using or expiring soon. I'd love a 2405 since my monitor burnt out... thanks. ;)
