Anybody know/remember how to replace the battery on a powerbook 170?

I know its SUPER OLD (don't worry though, its not my primary computer!). I was just wondering if anybody knew how to replace the battery as I have tried to remove the cover where the battery seems to be but I haven't managed yet. I also looked over the internet but I can't find any tutorials. My battery is dead so I wouldn't mind replacing it. The powerbook turns on but it has to be connected to a power socket.
