App to control your iPad

Hi guys,

I've searched but cannot find an app to control my iPad from my iPhone. Basically I'm going to be away from home in a hotel and so cannot use AirPlay with my Apple TV.

I've got the hdmi connector to connect my iPad to the tv in the hotel room but need to be able to launch videos from my iPhone using it like a remote. Any ideas?

You could put KODI on an iPad and then use one of KODI/XBMC remote Apps:
