iPhone 6+ 64 GB T-Mobile Space Gray

Order Placed: Sept 30 Evening
Prep for Shipment : Oct 24 Morning
Shipped: Oct 29 1 AM
Expected Delivery: Nov 6 by Apple, Nov 4 by UPS

So, I called up Apple yesterday, in hopes of trying to get expedited shipping and they said that everything is already on expedited shipping by default, and if I try to put an explicit expedited shipping now, it would only slow things down. 30 days and still no iPhone!

I have the same Shanghai arrival, but no departure by UPS 81 for Anchorage.

Same here. Way to drop the Ball UPS!!!! To be fair they actually never even had the ball on this shipment. They screwed it up the whole time..

UPS just blames it on apple.
this is what UPS told me

Please note that this is due to special Apple operating plans, not due to problems with the physical movement of the package. Due to special Apple operating plans, scheduled delivery dates fluctuate on U.S. imports. The scheduled delivery date may continue to update until the package enters the U.S. and clears customs. Once the package arrives in the U.S. and has cleared customs the scheduled delivery date should no longer fluctuate.

Basically UPS saying they can get the package to you, but Apple seems to micromanage each package, and sometimes they just sit, and if UPS was allowed to, you'd already have your package.

When i can understand because any time UPS does have full control over the shipment i seem to get it fast.

I'd forget any dates UPS gives you, and just go by the date in the apple email that says when it'll arrive. Maybe you'll get it on that day, or perhaps a day before, but i'd only trust that date. This way you wont get your hopes up just to be let down, as i and others have in the past couple weeks.

That is weird. Maybe the departure scan is an error. Even if it was going to the moon it would've arrived by now.

What date do you have on your apple email when they shipped it? Mine said October 31st, UPS had October 28, and its out for delivery today the 30th.

Hard to track your phone since it seems to be no where, ha.
But i wouldn't get excited, or worried til you get closer to the date apple gave you.

Same thing here. Paid for expedited and they still manage to screw it up in China lol. Nice. Doesn't seem like Halloween delivery will happen at this point being with express shipping it just sat in the same place for a day. Probably can ask for a refund of the shipping due to the reschedule and you will get it, I always have been successful in that case with multiple outlets. Though, there is still hope. They do take their expedited shipments seriously.

Today, I got an "exception" update. Mine will be delivered tomorrow but I have to be out with the family, it's Halloween! Now, I'm unsure what to do. Cancel everything and sit at home and wait? My poor family.

Those who were in Shanghai. We should be on flight UPS 81. It departed Shanghai at 9:32 PM and will arrive in Anchorage at 1:13PM. It matches the "Pkg Shipped" update. See below.

Just read this after my previous post. This is too much of a coincidence for the phones to not be on that flight. Pkg shipped matches the flight time so I bet the Shanghai phones are headed this way.

You could ask for UPS to hold it at their facility, which should allow you to pick it up earlier in the day.

I have pretty much the same Exception and journey too.

I changed my delivery to pickup at UPS rather than wait to have it delivered once it gets to my local area. Whenever it gets to my local area... We're part of the unlucky batch where things don't go lightning speed once it reaches the USA... -_-

I just got a text saying my redelivery was rescheduled to 10/31, we'll see how that goes.

I paid for it also, but I'm not getting pissed off just yet. From what i read it seems to be a scan problem. Some people from 10/3 are suppose to get their phones delivered today, but were in Korea yesterday according to their scans. So lets wait and see what happens with our delivery "reschedule".

Mine had the same thing and was scheduled to be delivered tomorrow. I changed it to pick up since UPS doesn't get to my house until late evening. I'll pick it up on my lunch break tomorrow.

Just got an Import Scan update. At leasts its officially in the US now and indicates some sort of movement.

The following may not apply to many of you that were in the 10/24 Korea purgatory and this Exception batch with me, but I'm hoping that maybe my phone can catch the UPS2920 flight to San Diego at 4pm'ish EST.
