If you hate apple this much why are you on this forum. That's what doesn't make sense to me. That's why you are obviously a troll. If you hate Apple, and still use this forum, you only do so to tell people about how bad Apple is. Don't come here and go flame Apple on the million other forums there about other companies.

Don't you realize that people that have intelligent criticism are the people that care?

Saying stuff like "Apple rocks! No one does it better!" is asinine. To begin with, no one company does everything the best, so that is impossible. Secondly, that kind of blind loyalty is a much bigger problem than having legitimate complaints about products.

I thought we were sticking with the idea that this was stupid. Right guys!? We cant look stupid and change our minds just because Apple bought them now!

I never thought kinect was stupid. To this day it blows me away. I love things like kinect because they bring us brand new ideas, it's like the first time we saw multi-touch in a product. I also feel it's arrogant to call kinect stupid just because it's not currently being used for many hardcore games.

Update: Just to be clear, I hate Mircosoft and I think that is one of the few things they have made that I really like. And, if it were made by somebody else it might also be a bit better implicated and marketed...

Then you are reading with rose colored glasses. This is nothing more than a blatant rip off of tech if true.

This forum ripped Samsung for their motion sensing smart TV's and now Apple is brilliant for going to the same company that Microsoft used to create some awesome software that puts them ahead of the competition in the gaming market.

The touchless motion control of the SG4 (along with all the other features) were gimmicks. Apple copies the exact same thing and it's suddenly revolutionary for the people that are disabled.

Apple needs it's own "innovation" and something that hasn't been done by 90 other phones or set top boxes. This pattern is really starting to get old.

Even Nikon blew away the media with it's new Camera and this forum just said. Yeah, but it's going to be grainy, stupid to have so many mega pixels.

Give credit when it's due and don't praise for Apple doing nothing but copying the best of the industry while still not listening to their customers and keeping the same small oblong mobile screen that they tried to tell their faithful it was the perfect size.

well Apple does copy but only ideas and implement them while keeping it simple and innovative which always surprise customers.
Samsung just do new thing with half-ass features and completely unusable. sorry but it's true.

If Apple starts building Macs that refuse to work unless there is a camera turned on, watching you, and listening to you (a la XBone) I'm going to get royally pissed.

Israelis invent a lot more than you realize... There's a reason none of the haters have seriously tried to boycott Israeli products. You'd end up with very little, technology-wise.

Truth is you wouldn't miss anything that is necessary to live : food, hospitals, vaccins, car, appliances, computers, even internet...

Oh yeah, just smartphone cameras, GPS, Kinect and other monitoring devices.

And I don't boycott Israeli products, only those sponsoring the extreme-right wing government there.

Or your post is extremely ignorant. It says right there in the article, Apple denies the rumor, so I guess I'm right and your facts are nothing more than flaming b.s. Also the site name doesn't same flameapple.com. I don't like people creating accounts and sticking around here just to bash Apple at every rumor. Literally every rumor. With no substantiated facts at all.

Amen to that, I remember that guy seemed so persistent on something he knew nothing about. Honestly, it's just pathetic.

Actually, the government there is very left-wing. They have many socialistic tendencies.

Patents. Buy them and you own their patents. This apparently gives the legal team something to do when anyone else tries to do something remotely similar to the patents you now own. Even if it's not THAT similar, it just needs to be close enough. Giving the legal guys something to do is very, VERY important in modern tech giants. Apparently, the more (things to do), the merrier.

Sometimes, they want to absorb the talent instead of having outsourcing arrangements. Absorb the talent and that talent is obligated to live within the corporate rules. Outsource relationships allows the talent to live by their own rules. This is apparently valuable when- say- a company wants to "double down" on security, etc. Outsiders might spill the beans while insiders can be executed for such spills... and their little dog too.

Awesome... thanks for that. Much appreciated.
