Am I crazy, or did the price of Apple RAM for mac pro drop in the last couple hours?

I could have sworn 4GB was $1099 this afternoon, now it is $800.

With you there... WTF? 1,500.. they couldn't be British prices unless 1,099 is followed by '+one arm+one spleen'. :D

How weird, now it is $1099 again. I wonder how long it was $800? I wonder if anybody was able to place an order in there? I wonder if it was a sign of an upcoming price drop?

Go to the Apple Store, Configure a MacPro

4 Gb of RAM is $1099

Now choose the 2 Gb RAM upgrade. Your shopping cart price goes up.

THe 4 Gb RAM option is now $800 --- As an upgrade from what you already have chosen (2 Gb)

Select 1 Gb RAM. THe 4 Gb price goes back to $1099.

    See? Magic. ;)
