Of course it is, but CNET never uses any common sense in their reporting. It's all about the doom and gloom. :rolleyes:

They did not hire FTEs to replace PTEs. Many many stores are reducing/removing PT hours, and not replacing those hours. Also, there were no PTEs hired for this past holiday in most stores, so there were no seasonal employees to let go.

Just an FYI. It had nothing to do with holiday, nothing to do with re-allocating to FTEs, it was a cost saving measure plain and simple and the result is less hours worked overall.
