Has anyone else noticed how the startup process is now completely different? The OS appears to load after you login in now whereas for the last however many years, it loaded before you logged in.

Has anyone else noticed how the startup process is now completely different? The OS appears to load after you login in now whereas for the last however many years, it loaded before you logged in.

If you have FileVault enabled, what you're seeing is a prompt to unlock the disk before the OS loads, then your credentials are carried over for login once the OS actually does start.

Hope this fixes the WiFi connection issuea after sleep.

can you elaborate on this? sometimes the wifi craps out after waking from sleep? or always?

mine stays connected but no internet have to turn off and back on again sometimes and wonder if related
