The only thing I've bought (recently) from the Apple Online Store was a refurb 17" iMac ($1299), I haven't gotten any type of discounts, though :(

gift + edu

the terms and conditions say these coupons aren't good in for Edu purchases. Anyone been able to sweet-talk them into both (historically speaking, for other coupons, unless someone's taken advantage of these very quickly)?

Confused by the criteria...

Hmmm... between work and personal purchases, I've probably spent $10,000-15,000 at the Apple Store online over the last 3-4 years. (iBooks, Xserves, G4s, G5s, iPods, software, etc) (And I've probably spent even more at Smalldog.com)

Yet, neither my work email nor my personal email have received anything from the store. Very odd.

Because you're one of our loyal customers, we're offering you this special discount of $XX off your order of $XXX or more when you shop online at the Apple Store by December 15, 2003.

I went to the bank today, but they're all out of $XX's and $XXX's.

I bought three PowerBooks from an Apple store in the past three months, and have gotten squat.

9000 grand spent, with no love in return.

What does it take to get some love from Apple?

Sweet, we can get two x's off our orders of three or more x's!! Unfortunately, I can rarely afford to buy things with three or more letters, and I usually only buy vowels.

Also, I hear the new XXX bills have nude pictures of Abraham Lincoln, which is probably why your bank ran out so fast.

Wow! You'd think that by spending $9 million on three Powerbooks, you'd see some sort of discount, or special offer.

Yay! As usual its a US only offer.
Thanks Apple.

Well, for those living in Canada, or Luxembourg, or even Botswana, I would doubt that U.S. $X's go very far in relation to real denominations of the local currency.

I think they used this photograph for the engraving:

You could've gotten two more for an additional 7.5 million, but that sale ended long ago.

I got my $25 coupon this morning. In the past month or two I've bought a refurb ipod 2nd gen (@ the online apple store) and a dual 1 ghz powermac (from the Apple Store in Durham) ... and all I get is a $25?! Oh well, I guess they know I don't have the cash for anything else right now.

I got BOTH coupons

yesterday, but I don't know why?? I never buy at the Apple store unless I have too; too expensive and have to pay sales tax.

But I may have to get one of those refurbished 17" iMacs for $100 off.

I got 3 coupons from Apple. I got $10 off $149 or more 2 weeks ago. I got the $25 off $249 or more last week expiring tomorrow. And this morning, I got the anniversary coupon of $100 off of $999 or more expiring on Dec. 15.

I have bought some ipod accessories, a 15 al powerbook and a dual g5 in the last couple of months but all at the Apple Store near my house. Only bought software at the online store.

I've purchased 3 computers and many other things from the online store.

My coupon is the $100 variety. Thanks Apple.

I've spent $5,000 through the Apple online store in the past 18 months and did not receive an email. Oh well, I ordered Panther through the store with an educational discount (which they never asked for any proof of my being a student) and they never charged my credit card! I received Panther 5 days ago in the mail, but still have not been charged on my card. weird.

Did you.....

For all of those of you complaining about not getting the coupon......

Did you un-check that little box about not recieving promotions and news?....

If you told them not to send any promotions, guess what, they didn't!!! :D
