For anyone interested, especially those of you who just shelled out for Quads and live in Florida like I do, we will no longer have to do a song and dance to get our computers covered under Applecare.
According to the Millenia store in Orlando (3 different associates) and an associate at the Florida Mall store, Applecare will be available for consumer purchase as of December 9 (Friday).
I welcome this move by Apple because I really didn't want any hassles when trying to register the warranty. 3 years or 1 year on a liquid cooled G5? Gee...let me think.
