macOS Applescript for cyberduck

Can anyone tell me how to code applescript to get details - especially creation/modification date of a remote file using Cyberduck ? All I can do currently is ask exist/not exist.

Alternatively, is there a more scriptable app than cyberduck that can do this ? I need to connect by SFTP and make upload decisions based on file dates.

Perhaps it would be easier to make a script around the sftp terminal application.
