Attempting to add friends crashes iPhone

Hello all, I have a 42mm Apple Watch SS and a Black iPhone 5 that I am using it with. A few days ago, my phone bricked because the new iOS 9 beta wouldn't install, so I reset my phone and Watch. Today, I was downloading some apps and wanted to add my friends back, I clicked on the friends section in the Watch app, it appeared to reboot, but it used the black Apple logo and white background(I have a black phone). After it rebooted, it had a blank white screen, saying "Slide to Upgrade" in the same fashion as the "slide to unlock". Anyone know what's wrong? I am gonna try a reset tonight, but I want to see if I can resolve it

Another thing, you CANT slide the "Slide to Upgrade"
