Using what is already built into a new powerbook, 802.11 and bluetooth, is there a way to "push" audio signals to a remote stereo via either of these protocols? I have seen plenty of 802.11 solutions that only pull audio files (in streams) from your computer via their menus, but have not seen one controllable from the actual computer. The linksys wireless presentation gateway looks as though you can "push" audio to it, but it only supports PCs!
Another example of this "push" functionality would be replacing the 1/4" audio cable that normally connects your computer, or powerbook in my case, to your desktop or home speakers, with a wireless connection. Much like you replace wired ethernet cables with Airport
