So I moved my iPhoto library and had a little scare when I thought i had lost all of my library. simply unplugging the external and re-plugging it in solved the problem though. thankfully!

my library is 12 gigs and i have 50gb FTP server. is there any easy, automatic way to backup my library to my FTP?

or i could just stop being lazy and back up the originals....right?

Or you could use PhotoUplink from http://www.photouplink.com its only a test version right now but FTP does work, from the iPhoto File menu click Export then PhotoUpLink, select the FTP option and the images or videos you selected will be uploaded for you.
