Hi everyone!

Just a quick question.

I am sure this is a software issue, but I thought that I might as well ask...

I have the base model Retina iMac late 2014, and when coming from sleep, the screen powers on, but at the last second the brightness changes to a little brighter. Its like a the backlight missed a "frame".

Now, I have tried to turn of automatic backlight, same thing. I also tried going to sleep and then waking it multiple times, and most of the times its smooth. Its always smooth when falling asleep, but sometimes it jitters when coming back on. Less so when I put it to sleep and directly wakes it.

Any thoughts?

Thanks!

Yep my thoughts are you are worrying about nothing, it is just the computer sorting itself out as it wakes.
