Okay, I'm curious of if anyone here has great experience with some great IP internet based camera security systems. I'm installing for a friend of mine, he has a very nice cabin that he wants to monitor from work, notorious neighbors.

This is what he'd like...

it to be able to email/txt/call him when video-motion alert is detected and to be able to get online or check his email to rewind the past few minutes to see what was captured.

I have seen many 802.11 wifi camera's on ebay for around $100 that are able to email the user a photo of when motion was detected, and be able to log into that camera on an http:// address and watch it live, but it doesn't look like they have the option to rewind unless you've had that browser page open BEFORE that and already set to be recording, which is kind of a drag.

They do have a DSL connection there and I have port forwarding tested, and yes... http servers do work on their ISP, so I'm good there, but I want to know if anyone knows of some specifically very great system they enjoy.

Either 802.11 wifi camera's that are monitorable remotely OR wireless video cameras that broadcast to a centralized computer either os/x or windows that is also monitorable remotely.

Thanks for any input ! super appreciated.
